It's About Thyme - Culpeper

The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We enjoyed salads and main courses, all cooked to perfection. The complimentary Bellini was a lovely gesture as we were celebrating a family event. We definitely plan to return while we're in Culpeper.

The food was decent, but this isn't my first visit and I have to say that the waitstaff leaves much to be desired. They don’t inform you about their specials, and the wait time for the food is excessively long. I returned hoping for an improved experience, but unfortunately, the service was just as disappointing as before. I won't be returning again.

However, the pizzas did not meet my expectations. As a pizza enthusiast, I was thrilled to find out they offered wood-fired oven pizza, which is why I ordered three. Unfortunately, the crust was disappointing. It had a gummy and overly dense texture, making it seem like the gluten had been overworked and hadn’t had time to rest. When looking at a cross section, the crust appeared grayish and opaque, even more so than the cheese itself. I found myself trying to concentrate on the cheese and toppings to distract from the less-than-stellar crust. That said, it’s possible that I just caught them on an off day, or maybe I received pizza made from a poor batch of dough—either way, the desserts were outstanding!

The Green Goddess Wood Oven Pizza Fresh Pesto sauce Goat cheese was perfectly melted Crust with a crunch Fresh Arugula served piping hot. Felt like Lady who made this was passionate about this pizza.Everyone Should Try once in Lifetime ! No Regerts :

Ordered 4 pizzas prior to a business meeting. Was told 20-25 mins on the phone. Took 1 hour to make 2 pizzas. Had to cancel my order and missed my business meeting. Food looked good but don’t order the pizzas unless you have some time to waste.
