Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Culpeper

Upon our arrival at 8:48 p.m., we noticed that the doors and windows were up, but the lights were on. We called and stood by the door, while two young ladies inside who were cleaning completely ignored us and didn’t answer the phone. I knocked on the door to get their attention, and when they finally saw us, they looked annoyed and told us they were closed. I pointed to the sign on the door indicating a 9 p.m. closing time and showed them my watch, but they just laughed and went back to ignoring us. We felt like we wasted our time driving all the way from Madison only to be dismissed and treated like an inconvenience. I will never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. I regret not taking a photo of the two employees who disrespected us and wasted our time so I could post it here.

The service is always excellent. Occasionally, you might have to wait a bit since there are only a few staff members working, but it's never for too long.

Long wait in a hot shop for overly expensive ice-ceddie cup 3.40, single cup 4 and caramel sauce for sundae.

The ice cream is absolutely delicious, but as for the customer service… that is despicable. My husband and I walk in, waiting to be greeted by the young man tonight but instead he sighs extremely loud and rolls his eyes at us. He didn’t even ask what we wanted, he just stared at us. I said if there is a problem with us being there then we can leave, he said “it’s okay”. Every time I’ve gone it just keeps getting worse and worse. Like I said, the ice cream is amazing but I will never return to this location ever again. I hope the owner manager sees this review and the employees can get a grip on work ethic and costumer service for the future.
