Sweet Pea Cakes - Crystal Lake

We choose Sweet Pea for the D'Andrea wedding cakes included in our packages. Couples attend tastings and absolutely love them. The cakes are stunning, and the frosting is delicious!

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming! We tried a wedding cake sample, and even though my fiancé isn't typically fond of cakes, he loved the samples we tasted! That really speaks volumes! The flavors were rich and delicious! They also offer various options for purchasing when they're open. I would definitely recommend this place!

The cupcakes are absolutely delicious! She also recently created a wedding cake for my sister's wedding, which was a brown sugar cake with salted caramel buttercream. It tasted incredible and looked exactly how we envisioned it! I highly recommend her for wedding cakes!

You're wonderful! Always able to accommodate our allergies and make special cake cupcakes. Want more vegan milk free options always available (not only special order), but it is nice that they can pick up for these allergens via special order. We have ordered for several special occasions that everyone loves the flavors of their cakes or cupcakes. They are also amazing artists! You can reproduce any image you send.

I had an amazing experience with SweetPea Cakes and am so happy with how they made our wedding cake! We gave very little direction to Nickie and she made an amazing three tier cake where each tier had a different flavor and two were even made with beer from our wedding venue (a brewery). So happy with the look, flavor, and service highly recommend!!!
