The Wine Vaults Croydon

I can't believe this restaurant has closed down! I used to come here and they would pour my favorite drink, Old Wallop, into my glass and I would enjoy it all night with my friends. West Croydon may not be the best area, but now we are stuck with Spread Eagle. I pass by this place frequently and it's a shame that one of the best spots in Croydon is no longer open.

Davy's Wine Merchants closed this restaurant several years ago, leaving Croydon without a place for a refined lunch of steaks and robust French Reds like Brouilly or Margaux. Now, diners must travel to Thornton Heath or South Croydon, which are not convenient to North End shopping. Thornton Heath is accessible by at least four bus routes located across from West Croydon Station exit.
