Gramboussa - crete

This restaurant is absolutely stunning and very accommodating for vegans. They offer a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes. I highly recommend checking it out. I visited multiple times during my time in Crete.

We were pleased to discover a restaurant with a wide variety of vegan options, which were conveniently indicated on the menu. It was a great find!

We stopped at this restaurant after spending the day in Balos and on our way to Elafonisi. The place itself is a vibe, the decoration is spot on, we really like the rustic feel with the vines overlooking the restaurant and the view is really nice. We had the avocado salad (which is actually 3 halves avoes with olives), the deep fried mushrooms, pumpkin pie and marinated veggies (only that one came with yoghurt on it, but they fixed it quickly without any issues). I was suggest to clarify you want everything dairy free just in case.. Everything has so much flavour. I would particularly recommend the pumpkin pies yemiesta (marinated veggies). It was really filling! Customer service was top notch they accommodated our change of table as we needed to make a video call outside (it was quiet enough to have it the wifi was great). The only thing I would mentioned is that I 've seen someone smoking in the inside part of the restaurant towards the bar section which is probably very common in Greece but as non smokers we didn 't like it. Other than that the rest was amazing and we wi definitely be back

The Place was really nice and they had a lot of vegan options. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our food! If you go to balos beach, you have to stop there. As a dessert they offered a self service and you could choose your favorite fruits.

The restaurant is gorgeous and always crowded with non-vegans. I adore the decor, as they pay attention to detail. The staff is very courteous and always in a hurry to serve quickly. There are not many vegan options available, and they are not as flavorful as the non-vegan choices (I have dined there before becoming vegan), which could be disappointing considering the high prices.
