Mr Eds Oyster Bienville - Cozumel

So we visited this location 3x's during our trip. We did try 2 other locations and let me tell u this place topped them all! Charbroiled oysters, blackened alligator, fish poboy, red fish with rice and veggies!!!!!! All amazing, fresh and tasty. Those spices are perfect didn't need to add hot sauce salt pepper nothing! And the wait staff r amazing my husband gave a nickname to one and she gave him one so she is Vanessa and he is Jimmy. She was so much fun we truly enjoyed this place. Loved each of the 3x's we went. Never once disappointed!

Had the best server give me recommendations and give me extra insight on this beautiful city. I wish I could remember her name but I can't. Very clean establishment. My seafood gumbo was delicious, will definitely come back again. Air conditioning was blowing because it was hot and humid outside. Thank you for the experience. I will be back.

Was told to look for and try some charbroiled oysters even if we've historically not liked oysters. Found this place while meandering downtown looking for some good local Cajun food. Man oh man am I glad we ended up here. I've never been a fan of oysters, but we got the Charbroiled as is. And they were so absolutely delicious I couldn't believe it. The herbed butter and Parmesan preparation and served fresh and HOT. They were perfect. I got the fish of the day which was Mahi Mahi and prepped the same as their on menu Redfish, with veggies and jambalaya. This was also sooooo good I kept eating beyond full bc it was so tasty, My husband got the shrimp and grits and cleaned his plate. The staff was friendly and on point, the place was clean. It is a smaller place and unassuming at first glance, but it's worth seeking out to enjoy some delicious food. 11/10 will return again if I get the chance. Side note there seemed to be a bit of a smell, plumbing issue nearby perhaps, but it was bearable and we both stopped noticing it after we got the oysters. So if it's not fixed when u go, maybe try it anyways bc I still left this glowing review despite its presence.

Delicious. I have been to NOLA a good 5-6 times so I can say I know good food when I try it. Decided this time around to search Yelp for some new spots since we had a friend joining us that has never been, needed to find a place that represented good new Orleans cooking and this was the spot. We all opted for the red fish in different flavors/dishes. We were all so impressed, licked our plates behind no crumbs left. It was that good. I also got to try the famous BBQ shrimp and glad I did. It's not like backyard BBQ I was thinking it would be. It was very flavorful and paired with the fish really well. I will definitely be back to try other dishes but this was a great first impression. As always customer service was great, best southern hospitality.

Nothing negative to say here. I went for oysters and was pleasantly surprised by the happy hour menu which included food and drinks. I went for raw oysters and also tried the charbroiled. I personally favor the raw oysters but both were delicious. The raw oysters tasted very clean and fresh. Great service and it was pretty busy for a weekday. I will definitely be back.
