I have not been to Monas for many years but wanted to post a review anyway because I have very fond memories of this place. When I was regularly going there, like 3 times a week, it was 7 months after Katrina. So quite a while ago. But the food was great and I always had great service. They gave generous portions and were always so nice. Very family friendly atmosphere and comfortable setting. Hope they are still as great as I remember. Their Lamb was excellent and I never had a dish that wasn't great. Miss you guys. Hope you are going strong.

My neighborhood go to for a healthy and clean meal as I’m usually here weekly. Everyone there is a joy. The food is delicious as I usually get the vegetarian plate or the shrimp plate with vegetables. The Lebanese tea is chef’s kiss.

Had dinner 3/16/24, and ate outside. Food was excellent, good portions and an very reasonable prices. Service was laid back and good. Clean establishment. they do not serve any alcohol, however they allow you o bring your own beer and wine, without a corkage fee. I only gave 4 stars, people are allowed to bring their dogs. I love dogs, but try sitting down to eat and a big one does his business next to you. Not here, but it could happen. Also, people were allowed to smoke in the outside area. I would recommend and return, but most likely sit inside.

Took the kid there for birthday lunch, food was great and all. Then this, hate to say it the non English speaking employee comes over and takes my kids plate and drops it on mine and looks at me like I’m an idiot. We waited a good 5 minutes or so after we were done for the waitress to come and bring us boxes. But she never came. She finally comes over with 2 boxes after the situation happened and acted like “Oopsie”…Was really looking forward to the leftovers and so was my daughter. It just should’ve never happened if the waitress was attentive. No idea why the non English speaking employee even came over to us. Not even an apology from anyone, they didn’t even have a manager on duty. Pretty sad….
