Przekaż informację zwrotnąJeff and I love to dine at Gautreau’s. It is an Uptown favorite of our since moving to New Orleans from Atlanta in 2008. The restaurant just keeps getting better and better. The staff is on top of things, the food is well prepared and plated, and the drinks delicious. We always feel part of the Gautreau’s “family.”
Quaint restaurant tucked in a residential area. Service was great and food was good but not as good as I had hoped/expected. Scallops had too much sauce. Confit was tender and delicious. Steak was good but a little bland. Foie gras was not as rich as expected and served with beignets which was a little odd.
Had a wonderful dinner here the other night. For entrées, we had the wagyu steak and the Ossobuco lamb with a chimichurri sauce; both were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we had the banana split, which was also incredible. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for quality food. My only negative would be that the room on the first floor is a little too tight with tables, but that aside, I will most definitely come back again.
