We went for the Sunday Drag Brunch. The queens were sassy and fabulous, they did not disappoint. Food was amazing. Bottomless mimosas were truly bottomless. I mean, our glasses topped off throughout the whole show. What a great time.
In town to meet up with some friends (and visit our kid at Tulane), we were so excited for our visit to Barrilleaux's. The service was amazing; attentive, polite, fun, appreciative, and a patron focused attitude. We LOVED our waitress! Watching her dance to the music and entertainment was one of the highlights of our visit it is clear she was loving her job on Sunday! The food was delicious. Being married to someone who wants a taste of everything, our table was full. Biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, fried green tomato BLT, pommes frites, and pecan French toast. All wonderful. Not massively huge portions, which was perfect. We enjoyed French 75 cocktails, but they offer bottomless mimosas as well. All delicious. The show. There are not really words for how much we enjoyed the show! The performers were entertaining, enthralling, hilarious and fun. They engaged closely with the crowd and worked the room. The vibe and energy of the room was raucous, at one point everyone up dancing and singing together. They told stories and shared much of themselves. It was hands down one the best experience during our time in Nola. Run, don't walk. Have a blast. It is a must experience, and we will definitely be back!
We attended the Sunday drag brunch as a bachelorette party group and had a blast. The queens are so talented and welcoming. Service was attentive and professional, albeit they were very busy pushing out bottomless mimosas and many plates for big groups. It's fun to celebrate with local drag talents and get to know another part of New Orleans. Hope to visit again!
Went for drag brunch. Go for the drag, DO NOT GET FOOD.Food drinks are pricey, even for NOLA, especially for quality. Our food came quickly, before the show and was still somehow COLD? My biscuits and gravy were inedibly salty. Like oops level of salty.Other people waited for their food for aaaages, like only got it by the end of the last number. If this was a one-off event it would be excusable but it seems shocking that they do this every week and get it so wrong?!Again, drag portion was great, no shade to the queens. Also if you do still decide to go, bring somes $1s
