Applebee's Grill - Covington

I dont know why everyone hates this place? It's great

My sister her husband and I went around 11 30 am it was not very busy. We were seated after a few minutes. The server walked by us 5 or 6 times while we waited about 25 minutes and no one ever came to take a drink order or see if we wanted to order yet.

The food was horrible and our server was as well. Got our order all wrong and server asked pink or no pink?!

Was not impressed. Service wasn't that great again, which was the one reason I hadn't been there in so long. His burger order was wrong and had to ask for stuff a couple times. The bourbon street chicken was good and came out hot so that was the one good thing. Boneless chicken wings were okay just had too much breading. Two things I feel should always be a no brainer are to give extra napkins on the table and check your diner's drink levels for refills. People should not have to wait or ask for refills and napkins.

The food was great. The last time I got the green beans, they were terrible, but not this time. Server was a little slow but I think that was due to them only have like 2 that I could see working. I will say it's dated on the inside..... the weird half circle booths are so gross looking and they play depressing music.
