Wimpy's Diner - Courtice

Absoloute rubbish food. I have been eating wimpys food for several years out of a couple of Toronto locations and what can I say but the experiences were allways first class , homemade hungryman meals , famous for thier homemade burgers , large portions and great service. This location King Street Oshawa is Total BS, rubber burgers, was ordered with everything on it and two side garnishments, the Original Burger as advertised but it was not homemade and was total rubber, no toppings other than the overpaid fake mushrooms, ... dry burger, no mustard, relish, ketchup, the very basics missing... right into the trash, 30 dollar burger. Isame thing a few months ago on another dish, gave them second chance. What a Burn, stay away

The decor is a bit outdated but acceptable. It could benefit from an update or remodel. We ordered Peameal Benedict, which was very good with a generous portion size. The Chick Souvlaki Wrap had great taste but was a bit small and did not come with any sides aside from a small cole slaw. We also tried the Peameal with eggs and toast, which was well-made and served in a good portion size. The coffee was good and refilled without having to ask. We would return to this restaurant if we are in the area.

Service from waitress was horrible, not the least bit friendly! We had to ask for cutlery, more coffee. I realize with all protocols going on that this may have affected her mood. Not a kind word or a smile out of her. It was clearly annoying to her that she had to serve us. Attention management: Your staff is obviously over worked, one waitress on during breakfast rush is clearly not enough. HIRE more staff.

With Covid times, ordering in seems to be the norm. But this is the first time we wanted breakfast, as we had family staying with us. A little hesitant to have a delivery breakfast, we ordered quite a bit to make sure we lots. Wimpy's AMAZED us!! The food came excellent temperature, quantity and tasted AMAZING!! We ordered for kids and adults and there were leftovers. We are telling everyone to support ordering breakfast sure made our weekend a great one. Thanks, Wimpy's!

/we had the family there last night on a Wed. Two had enough food to bring home for dinner tonight, that is how much You get. I ordered the fish with a salad, would go back any time just for that.
