Primavera Ristorante- Coronado

Service and food was excellent, but it took almost 40 minutes to pay our bill because the owner couldn't get our gift card to go through. It's a great restaurant, but in those instances when there is no communication happening and it takes that long, I can't give a 5 star.

Had a great and relaxing dinner with friends. Love the ambience, the food was cooked at the temperature I want. A perfect place to relax.

My wife and I had a lovely evening at this restaurant. Located on the charming Orange Avenue in Coronado, we enjoyed a romantic atmosphere with beautiful early evening lighting and cozy seating. The restaurant had a professional and attentive five-star staff who made our experience memorable. We started with bruschetta and red wines, followed by delicious pasta dishes. The bruschetta was perfect, with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on crispy crostini. The wines we chose were delightful and complemented our meal perfectly. Our main courses, Tortellini with cream tomato sauce and Linguine with mussels, were hearty and flavorful. To top it off, we were surprised with complimentary Tiramisu for dessert. While the meal was on the pricey side, the experience was well worth it for the formal yet spontaneous service, the delicious food, and the unexpected treats. We would definitely return for another special evening.

Simply one of the best hidden secrets for amazing Italian cuisine in San Diego.. or better Coronado! We've been going for a few decades and find it amazing that it stopped and never lost a beat. The service is excellent on the best old school path. The staff is extremely attentive, extremely knowledgeable from the wines to the entree recommendations. Make yourself a favor and try it yourself. See if you agree!

I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. Despite reading a negative review of their Caesar Salad online, I decided to give it a try and it exceeded my expectations. I have never had a better Caesar Salad. Trust me, this restaurant comes highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
