A few months ago, I mentioned a decline in both the quality and quantity of the food. The tofu was burnt and in small pieces, and the steak plate was also overcooked with very little meat on it. It seemed like I received half of what was served previously, and much less than what I get at other places. Is this a new trend, where prices are raised while quality and portion sizes are reduced? I hope not.
Today, I walked in and informed the cashier that I'd spoken to Eder and shared what he had promised me. She chuckled, looked at the back of the soda machine, and said she would need to call him. Since it was lunchtime and I was pressed for time, I felt a bit anxious. After about three minutes, she returned with a customer on the phone, apologizing for the delay. I reassured her it was fine, but I was in a hurry. She laughed again as she took my order, but when I went to place it, I actually forgot to include the dumplings I wanted. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon, as the customer service left much to be desired.
This place is great, 5 stars. Food is great and fresh. And they didn't charge me for extra sauce. They treat you right.
I live down the street and always call for pick up orders. The staff is great and doing their job and getting paid minimum wage for it. As I read the comments below, it seems that people complain just to get something free. This is waba! Not Ruth?s Chris. The food is consistent and delicious. It?s still covid times where supply issues are relevant and now that prices have increased yet again, I?m sure there will be issues with ice tea machines, plumbing, etc. and it will take time to fix. I don?t understand why people seem to be ungrateful and expect top tier excellence from a minimum wage job and 10$ bowls? If you give attitude, expect to get it back no matter where you go. These workers are not computers they have feelings too. Treat people how u want to be treated.
