Although I lived in the city, I didn't know that we were on this place, but we saw it and thought to give it. very small over two planes, the waiter was on his own faust so over both etagens so service a little slow, but the cook. good. I don't think that anything in it was booked seemed to go all in, the waiter was friendly and as it was suggested tapas, it was usual to divide 3 plates per and then perhaps what we did, each dish was cooked to order and was generally very good, the paella tapas was huge but well lightly dry for my taste, but would not stop me ordering again. each dish was a good part and felt overall it was good value and delicious. I would go back, yes I think I would be the only side it is so tiny
After a long hot day at the Sea Shanty festival we wanted something light and fresh to eat and happened across this place as we were heading down the main street. So glad we did, it was exactly what we were looking for. Great selection...of tapas (we are both vegetarian and plenty of options for us), nice wine and really friendly people.
How lucky were we?. We walked past this small and cosy looking restaurant which was closed at the time, and commented on how nice it looked. On the way back the owner was in the doorway and we stopped to glance inside. He came out...and told us it was their opening night, and went through what we could expect from the menu. Without further ado we booked a table for the following evening and were delighted with our choice. It wasn't a big menu, but the quality and value were outstanding. I certainly wouldn't say it was expensive, in fact excellent for the quality of the cooking and lovely ambience. The owner is a friendly, knowledgeable and well travelled man, and attentive enough to make it special, but staying at a distance in between. The restaurant on view from the road isn't the only bit, downstairs are comfy sofa's with just as pleasant an ambience. We both loved this evening and it made our trip to Falmouth, which was a Valentines Day weekend, quite perfect!
Just happened to drop in for evening meal and came away well happy. Some lovely food but was slightly disappointed that the meatballs were off the menu, great staff who helped make the dining experience. Cracking crumble for pud. Be back next year
