It’s a historic landmark from the 1920s located in Coral Gables, and it's also the only spring water pool in the United States. The entry fee is about $16 for non-residents, but it's definitely worth it to enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and the refreshing spring water. They replenish the pool every day during the summer, and there’s a sandy area where you can relax and soak up the sun. This is a must-visit spot in Coral Gables!
My kids are enrolled in the guard start program and the junior lifeguard program. My son had a great time in the guard start program, but they didn't provide him with a certificate as stated in the program description. My daughter is starting the junior lifeguard program on Monday, so we'll see how that goes. The place itself is beautiful, featuring waterfalls, caves, sand, food, and a lovely shallow area for younger children. However, children under 3 are not allowed to enter.
The pool is stunning and rich with local history about Coral Gables. The water is cool and refreshing, perfect for a hot day. There are plenty of loungers available for rent, along with a sandy beach area for sunbathing, picnic tables, and shaded spots to relax. The on-site café offers convenient access to bathrooms and showers.
Refreshing water and really old architecture. Full of caves, waterfalls, and things to explore. Highly recommend for a unique experience in Miami. There was a lot of kids but still fun for everyone.
Although the pool itself is very beautiful and worth checking out, it is very expensive to visit if you don 't plan on spending a full day there. $21/ adult (13+ non-local. Plus, you have to pay for every little thing, it seemed... lockers, beach chairs, etc.. The lifeguards did announce that life jackets were free for anyone who wanted to use one. I think you were allowed to bring outside food and drink as they did have picnic tables, if you could manage to get one before they were all taken, although no food or drinks were permitted near the actual pool. Signage was mediocre at best to make people aware of things like having to rent beach chairs, locations of lockers, etc... It was a bit of a disappointment for us just wanting to spend an hour or so to check it out in our limited time we had to spend in the area.
