The Cheesecake Factory - Coral Gables

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. It's a great spot for meals in the $15-25 range. The complimentary bread is fantastic, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices, including a separate section for lighter calorie options. During my most recent visit with a larger group, the service was a bit slow. One member of our party received undercooked chicken and had to send it back; unfortunately, her replacement dish didn't arrive until the rest of us had finished eating. They did make it up to her by covering her check. Overall, the food is excellent—you have to try the low-carb cheesecake, which is only about 500 calories per slice and tastes amazing.

This Coral Gables location of the nationwide chain is consistently excellent, just like the others. I have no complaints at all; you know exactly what to expect. The prices are fantastic for the large portions you receive. Their dishes often surpass those of many so-called "authentic" local Italian, Mexican, and Southern restaurants. I especially love their loaded nachos and the complimentary bread and butter—they're simply delicious! Even their soft drinks, like Coke Zero, taste better than at other places. The fried chicken is also fantastic, and all of the cheesecakes are quite good! The service is standard and friendly. Overall, while it may not be extraordinary, it's a crowd-pleaser with something to satisfy everyone. Plus, they offer a skinny menu, which is great for anyone watching their diet. What more could you want? You really can't go wrong at the Cheesecake Factory!

We visited this Cheesecake Factory during carnival season and were seated right away upon entering. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive to our needs—she even sang Happy Birthday to our birthday girl. The food was enjoyable; the cheeseburger spring rolls were particularly crispy. Other diners around us ordered pasta dishes and seemed very pleased with their meals. However, we did encounter a problem: there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the restroom. We had to stop at the bar on our way out to grab napkins. This is not the standard I expect from the Cheesecake Factory.

Greg was our waiter and very nice. Food came relatively fast and was tasty. I would NOT get the honey truffled chicken again though. There wasn 't enough honey on the chicken to taste and it was fried....other than that the potstickers were excellent and drinks were made to perfection!

I was pleased to find the cheesecake factory. I like to try new places but I didn't want to spend the time investigating, I just wanted food i was accustomed to. They have beautiful outdoor dining. The service was amazing and the food amazing.
