I can’t provide a review since this restaurant is closed and no longer exists.
Thank you for everything! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere with its beautiful view was simply wonderful.
I feel like an archaeologist, having gone to the next to last Sansara Popup Brunch. I'd seen the pictures Diandra and Blue posted awhile back, and put in my bookmarks but hadn't gone because #miami. Having seen the Yelp Newsletter and finding out that Sansara was about to close, I made plans for Sunday and met with my OG Yelp BFF Michelle. We were both lucky to find street parking right across. After a minimal wait, we were seated at the bar to observe the magic from Chef Shatzy her crew in action. Based on the pictures from the internet's; we both ordered their croqueta cake Benedict and shared their pancakes. If the restaurant would remain open, I would have dinged one star on the consistency of the croqueta and saltine cracker. The croqueta tasted like corn meal and thus a similar texture to the saltine. Perhaps a ham croqueta and Cuban bread would amo up the taste of an otherwise perfect Benny. The purple cabbage was visually pleasing and yummy tasting, blending well with the hollandaise and runny egg. Our pancakes were deliciously fluffy, lightly sweet and a perfect base for the mixture of strawberries and orange syrup. I could even taste real better. They need to teach other places a master class on pancakes! An artistic latte with condensed milk and passion fruit mimosa (just the right amount of sweet rounded out brunch. We also got to plead with them to reopen and make it permanent. Here's hoping for Round Two!!
This hidden gem in coral gables has a boutique style menu, but every item looks worth trying! There are a fusion of flavors of Cuban with some flare styles to their food. I regret not coming to this place sooner as they have announced their final day will be Sunday April 28th, which I plan to attend because it was all so incredible the first time! There are no reservations accepted, so first come first served (they open at 10:30am) and when they run out of food, it 's gone. You will hear the chefs yell out one more salad! for example once they are running out of an item. The coffee was delicious as well! We enjoyed the Seí±orita Croque: manchego-saffron mornay, grated tomato, fried egg, and chorizo. The explosion of flavors, I can 't describe except extraordinary! Also the Croqueta Cake Benedict: I don 't know how they made their croquetas there, but they are croqueta crack ! Saltine biscuit, poached eggs, lime hollandaise and purple cabbage. What an amazing blend of flavors! Papaya salad with masitas de puerco: palm sugar syrup, cherry tomatoes, 12 hour pork belly, and peanuts. We saw the making of the Cafe con Leche Pan Perdu, and yea, MUST order! Best of luck to the chefs in their future endeavors!
