Sushi Town - Coquitlam

I called to inquire about gluten-free options and was told that the restaurant does not have a gluten-free kitchen and does not recommend ordering food for those with gluten sensitivities. The staff member I spoke with did not seem well-informed about gluten and how to accommodate gluten-free diets.

The restaurant informed me that they would not be able to accommodate any special dietary requests and advised against ordering from their menu.

My partner has celiac disease, so we were extremely let down. The first time we visited, the kitchen was able to prepare a authentic crab California roll and took necessary steps to prevent cross contamination. However, the next time we went, they claimed to be too busy to take the same precautions. There were no gluten free options guaranteed on the menu. We will not be returning.

Very generous portions at super reasonable prices! They have tons of delicious and fresh rolls and sashimi. Service is pretty good too considering how busy they constantly are. I don't understand some of the negative reviews here because people shouldn't expect perfect service from such an efficient, budget restaurant like this. This is by far the best place for sushi in Coquitlam if you want to save some money and have a good meal.

Good place to go for sushi. The place has just be renovated recently so it is clean and fresh looking inside. The food is good and reasonably priced. If you do go around lunch and dinner,expect a line up. It is quite a popular place.
