I Am Pho Coquitlam

It was my first introduction and experience with Pho kind of food.... and I can say it is very delicious and huuuuugeee portion Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I came here with my sister to enjoy a pho soup, we didn’t order appetizer or anything, straight pho soup, and we waited 20 mins for our soup to come and they bring us one small plate of bean sprout and 2 lime, so I’m like ok, food came we start to eat, portion inside the large soup I ordered is very small, not enough noodle and meat and they fill the bowl with broth. They don’t come back to see if we need anything, I had to stop a server for anything I needed like some napkins and more bean sprouts. I never complained, my sis and I just ate and when I got up to pay, I tapped the card and the guy says to mewhat happened? I’m like, what? He says, why you didn’t tip? Then I’m like stunned how he dare ask me why I didn’t tip, there was no service, where do I begin!? We came to the eat soup, we eat what we are given, no one came back to see us, it’s like how can he even dare asks why I didn’t tip. Tip for what!? When I walked away you can hear him talking about us to other servers, this place is disgusting with how they expect you to tip!! Tip is not mandatory and if you want a tip, you have to show good, attentive service! I don’t recommend this place, no service no respect!

Don’t waste your time and money going to this place. You get zero good service and the servers are even worse, they give you attitude and talk back to you as soon as they get frustrated from the customer asking questions about the menu! They are rude aS hell and they still expect you to tip! And if you don’t they will ask you why you didn’t tip. Also, they fill the bowl with broth and give you little meat ! So what are you really paying for and what are you eating! A bunch of broth ! They increase their prices They decrease the quantity of the meat They give you horrible service They give you rude servers They demand you to tip This place is awful. Find another place! Service matters a lot when you go out to eat! And you don’t want a cheap place as well. You should eat somewhere where you’re getting your money’s worth. Not feel like you were robbed!

I really like this place and I suggested by aunt to go there, but they said it's currently closed from Dec 1st 2023 to Jan 15th 2024. Showing holiday hours on Google would be most helpful.

Probably one of the better and closest to authenticity Pho broth among hundreds of Pho places in the Lower mainland.
