Their menu has the option to make their hot drinks cold for an extra charge. I ordered two iced coffees but they charged me for two cold brews. When I pointed it out, the barista said that an iced coffee is a cold brew. See the thing is, an iced coffee is just regular (hot) coffee cooled down and poured over ice while a cold brew is done by steeping the coffee cold (no heating process). Disappointed that he didn't know the difference and I did not want the taste of a cold brew.
This restaurant has two outlets in Coquitlam, both offer coffee and muffins, etc. Service was good and muffin was fresh and tasty!
Ordered an americano misto with oat milk. They charged extra for the oat milk and put almost none in. I asked for honey part way through the order and the barista got upset and told me to ask before paying next time as they charge extra for that too. The barista came across as unhappy and unfriendly. I try to support local businesses, but will not be going back to this place.
Food option is so limited (mainly sweets and overpriced sandwiches). The espresso seems too watery but otherwise, the lattes are ok. Some of the staff are very dismissive and almost avoid eye contact so if you are looking for a place to study for awhile, go somewhere else!Vegetarian options: very limited for savory options
