Bento Sushi - Coquitlam

I chased a salmon combo. Very fresh sushi and hard rice. It was the worst taste I had eaten on earth in my life. I hope I won't get a disease later.

Not good. Very dry and this location is at Safeway near Burquitlam plaza.

Sadly not so good. Better off finding somewhere else to go. Also customer service is really non-existent too. Rice was chunky and chewy. Yuck. Lol.

As many have mentioned, the sushi rice here is a bit firmer than what you’d typically find at a restaurant. I believe this is mainly because the sushi is prepared and then stored in the fridge for customers to pick up, which isn’t their fault. While the flavor may not match the experience you'd get dining in, it’s a convenient option for those who are short on time. The portion sizes and taste are quite reasonable for a grab-and-go option. I paid at the Safeway checkout.
