Zinc Cafe & Restaurant - COOKS HILL

Really nice coffee and great eggs benedict. We chose thus Cafe because it was less expensive than others nearby. The poached eggs were perfect.

We have dined here for breakfast a few times now with family and each time the food has been fantastic. Staff very pleasant. Quick service. Will definitely dine here again.

We used to love this restaurant and to be fair my dining companions enjoyed their meals but my Caesar salad was the worst ever. I think it had French dressing rather than Caesar and there was no parmesan until I asked for it. The crotons were not home made and had sage in them. Weird. Come back the real Zinc.

Our breakfast arrived quickly but was inedible. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and my coffee tasted like ash it was that burned. The rosti dish was equally terrible with the potato chewy and full of peppercorns.

Worst experience ... service was poor slow and unfriendly. Food after 1hrs plus wait was poor .. couldn't eat the Quinoa and cauliflower rice and the chips were just frozen. After 3 requests for water had to get up and rouse the staff to fetch it. Hugely overpriced ... never again ... don't waste your time and money and not sure how they are still in business
