Great lunch break at Cooks Hill We arrived late and were so relieved that the kitchen was still open. It was a cold and windy day, so we had a heartwarm roast duck laksa and green beans with mint. The Laksa was delicious and rich and the green beans spicy and fresh. Next time we will try the house made dumplings that we saw the employees by hand!!

Wow, the best dumplings in Newcastle. Also very well appreciated. Service was also very good. Beverage selection might be better. We'll be back.

Ate outside on the private patio with my doggo, and enjoyed BBQ pork Lotus Cake (bao) with crunchy fresh lettuce and the prawn pork wontons with spicy chilli peanut sauce. Thanks for the lovely meal and letting me enjoy the meal with my dog
