It was the usual sushi train deal: take a plate off the conveyor, eat, and the waiting staff count your plates at the end. The chefs prepared dishes in front of us.There was a good supply and range of fresh sashimi and sushi, and other Japanese treats, circulating. The tuna and salmon sashimi and California rolls were particularly good. The dumplings were terrible. Japanese glutinous rice sweets were yum.The whole experience cost me $32 for a very satisfying meal (no drinks). Generally, it's not a place for a romantic sit-down meal, but for good, fresh fast food straight off the production line, it gets my vote. Recommended.
Just excellent food, service very good, very pleasant helpful staff, worth a visit
Since they have moved to a new (current) location, I have been eager to try this place again but it was always packed! Finally we came back here on a
Japanese restaurant owned by Indonesians who will vehemently claim that it is authentically Japanese.
Outstanding place for generously portioned sushi/sashimi in Kensington Very understated, which rewards Tengoku with a hidden treasure atmosphere.
