The Dungeon at Ashford Castle

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We made a reservation for a special event and were not let down!

I was extremely disappointed with the restaurant. The steak was cold, expensive, and not worth the price. The atmosphere in The Dungeon was chilly, and even though the waiter tried to help by providing a small heater, it was not effective. This meal was meant to be a special reunion for myself and two friends, all nurses who trained together 40 years ago. Unfortunately, for 300 euros, it was a pretty terrible experience.

The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance with a medieval castle feel. The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. The wine selection was lovely, although a bit pricey for the quality. This is to be expected in a hotel of this caliber. The staff was excellent and very friendly.

Such a fun dining experience at The Dungeon! Delicious food and great atmosphere with excellent service.

A perfect way to end a day of activities. The food was fantastic. Couldn't be more pleased. Atmosphere and décor is what I was looking for.
