Camp Street Cafe - Oughterard

An address that doesn't pay a mine at first sight, we didn't regret having pushed the door. My husband ate a burger, my fried chicken girl and I connemara pizza. everything was very good and generously served. value for money at the top. accompanied by a good beer, of course! very nice staff, a few words exchanged in French with a lot of humor.

DES runs this little cafe where you can have a pint or a drink and does homemade fish chips plus other food choices. He’s also a good storyteller can tell you something of the local history in these parts, some of it quite fascinating, There’s also a B&B upstairs with a fair sized off street secure car park. It’s motorbike friendly and motorcyclists are encouraged to stop or stay and are very welcome, so if your touring Connemara or Galway a very worthwhile stop motorcycle or not!

Best pizza and chips in the ground. wings are also very good.

Best fishing and chips, beautiful and fresh! great service, very friendly and accommodating. many parking spaces, residential property welcome.

Not expensive, but under the height, the café was closed, key to a locker, very obedient.
