Pizzeria Da Chiccoi - COMO

We got off the autostrada prematurely on our way to Lake Como and stumbled upon this place at the right time as we were hungry and thirsty having not had lunch in Milan. The gnocchi were quite good--one with speck and zola, the other with shrimp and mushrooms (mare e monte/surf and turf) as was the homemade foccaccia. The veal scallopine for the secondi were just all right, kind of plain and in need of salt and some lemon juice. The waiter was very nice and we got to practice Italian conversation with him. Probably wouldn't make a special trip there but would eat the pasta again.

Personale cordiale e cibo buono. L'unico aspetto negativo è che il nostro cameriere non era molto attento, ci ha lasciato formaggio, olio, ecc. sul tavolo anche dopo aver finito di mangiare.

Sono stata stasera al ristorante, ho gustato una deliziosa frittata di calamari, davvero ottima. Hanno anche offerto la focaccia, molto buona. Chicco (il proprietario) è stato molto accogliente.

Eccellente. Porzioni generose e di alta qualità. Prezzi convenienti, servizio rapido.

Il MIGLIORE Risotto al Mondo con frutti di mare l'ho mangiato qui. Complimenti al Cuoco e non costa neanche tanto.........
