Probably the best croissants in town, great cappuccino, great service, great view. Nice personnel, acceptable prices.

Not part of but on the same block as the Hotel Barchetta Excelsior facing onto Piazza Cavour. A great little cafe serving wonderful authentic Italian food. Friendly staff who offered to split the large portions onto two plates at no extra charge. The penne was fantastic and both the tomato and basil sauces were equally good. The caprese was huge and delicious. Good selection of local beer and wine and great espresso. Our only regret was we didnt have time in Como to try the other menu items.

The food itself was okay, me and my partner had bruschetta to share. I've had better bruschetta for cheaper elsewhere but you pay a premium for the prime location of the cafe. I personally wouldn't go back as going just a few streets over makes all the difference in price and quality.
