I disliked everything about this place. I love a good Chinese food restaurant. And this is anything but that.
Honestly, this is more about their parking problems instead of the food inside. The food is mediocre, I've been here twice. But this restaurant has a weird territorial and predatory attitude towards the parking lot and continues to tow cars that are attending a show at Bar-K, EVEN WHEN THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. There is no reason to tow cars out of a parking lot when your restaurant is closed, and I have never seen that restaurant have a HALF full parking lot to begin with so I don't know what their problem is.A band schedule to perform was unable to because their car was towed with a bunch of equipment inside. I would have been livid. Eventually the tow truck driver is going to get into a bad situation with one of these bands.DO NOT PARK behind or near Bar-Kay unless it's a meter on the street because these people will tow your car for no reason.Parking: There are plenty of spots for China Town, but they continue to tow vehicles out of the parking lot of the businesses next to them even when they are closed. This is BS and predatory and annoying.
I spent $45 for the fried rice special and a portion of their ribs. What a complete joke. There must a heavy recession going on could you believe when I open the small rice box, there were my ribs cut into mini size pieces. I thought to myself this must be a prank.lol but NO it was real. The chinese rice was terrible, it looks like they just slapped soy on the rice and bagged it up...not even kidding. Please avoid this place if you can.
Maybe the blandest fried rice I’ve ever tried. It tasted like white rice with a couple clumps of eggs in it. Absolutely no seasoning at all. Not even soy sauce. The garlic chicken was pretty typical. Wonton noodle soup was also incredibly bland (almost no salt). I had to re-season everything myself. I’d avoid if possible.
