The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable for homemade meals. They also serve a selection of beers and wines. Overall, it's a fantastic discovery, and you won't have to wait in long lines!
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but it is quite expensive for the value offered. The waitstaff tends to be a bit intrusive, stopping by every few minutes to check on you. While some people might appreciate this attention, I personally do not. The lunch specials are more reasonably priced, but the portion sizes are very small.
Placing a quality restaurant inside a grocery store is a clever idea! While it may not offer the best ambiance or a romantic escape, it's a fun spot where you can watch your meal being prepared right in front of you. It’s also an excellent place to engage in conversation with fellow diners. You can purchase a bottle of wine at retail prices from their extensive wine selection, and they'll open and serve it without any added charge. If you don't finish your bottle, they'll re-cork it and send it home with you at no extra cost. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes prepared by a skilled chef. Service is generally quick, unless they're particularly busy, as there is usually just one chef and one server on duty.
While shopping at Whole Foods for the best fish in town, I often make myself a salad to eat for lunch later. I love the selection... especially the grains and interesting veggies. But really, the salad bar has something for everyone!
Take-out today with their Genji Brown Quinoa Spicy Tuna Avocado Sushi. Always fresh, and very reliable.
