In my original review (below) I noticed insecurity about vegan items that kept me away from pho asian noodle house, but I have since resumed my patronage and I believe that the dings have improved! the girl on the theke knew what was vegan and I got the right broth in my suppe. I still love the baptism of fresh zilantro, basilikum, sprouts and paprika that come with it. it hurts me to see so many people who destroy these fresh Yammy vanillas. I wish they would ask people whether they want them or not. once I approached a table of food washers and asked if I could have their sweetness! the best but is the salt and pfeffer tofu solid chinese tofu, panko baked, sat with fried green bevelled and jalapeno paprika. a simple, salty, swashy dish that is absolutely addictive! - I had some great experiences at pho. the menu in the load lists vegetarian pho as option on and I ordered it without problems. it was delicious! a huge bowl of spicy broth, full of sweets, served with baptism of fresh jalapenos, mint, basilikum and pean sprouts! wow! I was arrested. but, I wasn't back in a time because the three visits in pho were my trust in their ability to absorb vegans destroyed. we ordered the Veg-Pho, as usual, but it was actually chicken broth. it was obviously yellow and chicken smell. we complained and said there was a misunderstanding with the cook. they fixed it. the problem is that it happened again, the next two times. we were led to believe that there is a special way to order the pho, because the cook does not understand at this time what is vegetarian. annoyed, but ready to speak the cooking language, I ordered a third time as I had been instructed and again received chicken broth. I haven't been there since. it's regrettable because the pho was really excellent when it was vegan. there are some other pan-Asian options on the menu, such as coconut curry tofu, which are allegedly vegan, but they are nothing they can not get in any other Asian restaurant in the city. updated by previous review on Thursday juni
I had the duck soup, roasted pepper teeth and crab soloon. The duck in the soup was not as neigent as I usually duck, but the flavors were very good. The fried tines were crispy and well seasoned. You can eat all the shrimp from tail to head. The crabs rangoons weren't my type. I don't like my cream cheese, but others like they're good for someone who likes to see crab krangoon. I'll try other articles on the list again...
Looks like a Taco Bell, but.... It's actually one of the better Thai places in town! I recently graduated from OSU and this is where I'd go to take a break from long hours in my office on west campus. I've actually never had their pho...I'm too torn between the red curry (with noodles instead of rice...they make their own noodles so why not? and the Thai beef basil to order anything else. Portions are huge and prices are low, so it's a great value.
Best Pho in town. The red curry dish is the other dish we usually get with the pho. Enjoy!!
