Local Cantina Gahanna - Columbus

My husband and I wanted tacos, so we drove out of our way to go to Local Cantina. I will say the service was great. We sat at the bar, and our bartender who waited on us was very nice. The food, on the other hand, came out looking great, but the food was really flavorless, hard to believe being mexican food. My crunchy taco shell was so stale. My husband's fajita burrito had peppers and onions in it, and they were crunchy and not cooked. The chicken in my tacos was nothing but fatty grissel. Not much flavor with their cheese dip either. I have been at other locations, and the food quality was better. I probably won't be going back. Don't let the food pics fool you, the food looks pretty good. Maybe it was just that particular day, but it ruined it for us.

I had an excellent experience with the service and drinks, which were perfect after a long day of sports. I'm looking forward to coming back again!

The service was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic, but the food was disappointing. It took an hour to receive a bland burrito that lacked any flavor. I had to ask for extra salsa just to add some taste. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time. However, the salsa was really good; I recommend adding a teaspoon of the hot red sauce from the bottle for a kick!

Zach, the awesome bartender, made my experience unforgettable, and the food was amazing! I really loved the open garage vibe and the ambiance of the place!

Food is good as always! The only complaint was the pouring of the Beer, please teach your bartender NOT to leave an inch of foam on the tap beer, I'm paying more for tap but im getting less product!!
