German Village Coffee Shop - Columbus

Beautiful claustrophobic atmosphere that is constantly busy and full of people. on the first look this would be a negatiw (and it is a great negatiw if they are in a hurry) but I find it part of the fun to go here. eating is also quite good and has a nice house cooked simpleness, so there is nothing too risky or demanding a customer. I will say that I think the French toast price is a little strange, like a single small piece French toast is the same price as a giant pancake. another small criticism is due to the compact nature of the restaurant, there are only a few people who work at any time that can lead to some long waiting times for eating; but a part of the fun is in the location, sitting and having friends for a while to chat and enjoy the mood.

My man and I visited this place on Saturday morning to the breakfast. we enjoyed going to the neighborhood that had a neighborhood halfway sale while we waited. service was friendly and it was fun to watch the cooking. we both enjoyed our eating pancakes, eggs and a breakfast sandwich. all tasted great. this is a great little place in the German village!

Amazing people, excellent eating. everyone was super friendly. they can sit on the desk and watch how to eat cooked and chat with the cook. they are open early in the morning and there are actually parking spaces (parallel) near the house door. I was in town for business and had breakfast here. if it was about me, I would have come back to lunch. next time I'm in town, I'm not gonna waste half an hour looking for a place to eat, I'm just coming here. 10/10, would buy again in a heartbeat.

I had three pancakes when I was here. There was a little bit of wait. I had one of them beat the pancake of the month, which was cherry cordial. It was delicious, came with chocolate and cherries that were split. It tasted remarkably like a cordial Cherry. I also had a blueberry pancake and a pecan pancake. It was so much that I couldn't finish but it was very good. The staff were nice and talked and joked with us. I would recommend this coffee shop for a bite to eat in the morning, and also will come back again in the near future!
