City Barbeque - Columbus

Its been years since i went back to a city bbq. Not that it was bad but it wasnt nearby. Food was good last time but a little dry. I got one of the sampler plates that time to try a little of everything. This time i got the chipotle bbq sandwiches. Pulled pork, brisket shavings as well as rib meat on texas toast. This time it was juicy with flavor not at all dry. Didnt even have to use the extra cup of bbq sauce i snagged for takeout. At no point did it feel greasy or too oily or even too saucy for that matter. There was a little bit of cartilage in the rib meat but that really didnt stop me from enjoying this. Only critique is that unfortunately outside of a few sampler choices, sides arent included. Buy 2 sides get $1 off isnt that great as it sounds either, when sides range from 2.50 to 3 bucks each outside of the fries, theyre relatively small. Nonetheless, if you're craving a tasty place for some bbq, its not the worst place you can go!

Great meal! Typically, I don't think about calories when I go to City BBQ but this was a great option. Overall, great experience at this location!

Took my grandmother here for the first time. The meat was melt in your mouth and delicious. Best brisket and BBQ pork in town. Totally recommend. Prices are really reasonable. They offer catering platters n pans.

Very good barbecue, service was great and we receive a free drink because it was our first time there.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The place was clean and well-maintained. The young women at the counter took our order promptly and efficiently.
