Caffe Amici - Columbus

This is the best Italian restaurant in town. The chicken pot pie soup was absolutely delicious, and I absolutely loved the carbonara as well. If you're craving Italian food, this is the place to visit. My server, Grazi, was incredibly friendly and always provided excellent service.

The food here is fantastic, and it's truly an excellent restaurant. However, I want to highlight that kitchen takeout orders stop at 9 PM, not 10 PM as the hours indicate. Many restaurants, for some reason, do not post their kitchen hours, which are the most important times to know because if the kitchen is closed, the restaurant is essentially closed too. That said, it’s still an amazing place with great food and wonderful staff. I always love going there!

The restaurant offers generous portions of food, with plenty of shrimp and scallops in the pasta; however, the sauce could benefit from more basil, garlic, or herbs for added flavor. The bread served could use an upgrade as well; a crusty loaf would be preferable instead of just standard white bread. Our waitress, Lydia, was delightful—upbeat, energetic, and provided excellent service. The eggplant parmesan was tasty, but it wasn't the best I've ever had and was a bit on the dry side.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch, and our waitress was fantastic. I really enjoyed the food, especially the delicious Peach Martinis. After we finished our meal, we weren’t rushed to leave, so we were able to sit and chat for a while. I definitely plan to return!
