In town for the day, I was thrilled to discover this place and happily noted that a sign on the door said masks were required..however, as I stood there awaiting my food (which I’d paid for over the phone) it slowly dawned at me that none of the employees (including the ones in the kitchen) were wearing masks. Also, a few apparent customers actually walked back and forth into the kitchen, the cashier did not wash hands between handling money and food, and a young man in socks- no gloves or mask- was also handling and passing out people’s orders. Anyone reading this knows how hard it is to have one’s vegan dreams dashed, especially on the road, but I simply had to toss it. It’s the closest I’d been to so many unmasked strangers in the past year, and sadly, they were handling my food. Very sad and hungry now.
I went through the city and my sister recommended jordans girl. now I am a food and I will travel for vegan food. I was everywhere in the usa and from whatever reason at different places vegan breakfast and pfancake was not mastered. I have the big breakfast with banana pancakes, grumbs, hash brews, iron and sausage, and it was beyond a good time! the pancakes were amazing! and the customer service was spectacular. the owner and her mother came out to talk to me, and everyone just had a big one who smiled at me during my visit. I wanted to give 5 stars, but happy cow didn't leave me because they are not 100% vegetarian or vegan - yet it makes a priority to visit with them. their vegan options are: nuts, gluten and soy free – this is definitiw one plus in my book! updated by previous review on 2022-06-18
