We had beef rendang nasi lemak, bbq pork, chicken rice and kueh lapis ? Close my eyes and her food brings me home? such comfort food. The chicken meat was smooth and juicy, the ginger and the chili sauces were on, especially, the rice was fragrant with fresh pandan leaves (from Orlando) and not very fat, as chicken rice tends. It is a labor-intensive dish to make and I am so remarkable to find Authentic Malaysian/Singapore food in Colorado.
Just the best authentic Chinese food in the city! More than that is the service. Husband and wife possessed and ran, and when you go in, you will find one of them or their son. You'll be happily engaged in conversation and are some of the most authentic and friendly people I've ever known. This is missing from chain and big box and splits into community. Love this place!
Delicious! Very recommend the curry laksa noodle dish. I got regular spices that were a beautiful kick but not too spicy (I love spicy foods). The creamy coconut cure is so good, maybe the best I had! The wonderful, dry noodle dish is also excellent. Soft, smokey BBQ Chinese pig makes the dish really special. We finished with a piece of matcha roll cake that was moist and not too sweet. Great matcha taste!
Kopi The aka Asian Cookery is a must to go to dinner that serves the most authentic, celebrated and legendary Southeast Asian and Malaysian street food. The dishes prepared by chef Peng Jones present their sophisticated culinary skills, long-term knowledge and immersion in the diverse and multicultural country where she grew up in Malaysia. I appreciate their creativity and wisdom with the use of ingredients, perfect balancing of taste and no insane approach to the food she loves, and also loved by her customers. This last visit, my family and I ordered Laksa, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak with Beef Redang and my favorite Dry Wonton Noodles. Every bite was a sensory experience packed with mesmerizing taste, aroma and goodness. Your other delicacies such as Curry Puffs, Dumplings, Glutinous Rice and variety of Kuih are not to be missed. These spices are prepared with expensive preparation and then finished by steaming, frying, baking or fusions. They are ingenious in taste, texture and artistic appearance. And worth mentioning, these little bites have history of Malaysian, Portuguese, Thai, Indonesian, Chinese and several ethnicities. The café now has more seats. Ted, Nicholas and the whole staff do an amazing job in service! Very recommended.
Really excellent food. The curry dish was great and the dumplings were scrumptious! The place was super clean and the employees were courteous and smiled a lot!
