P74: The Downtown Paninos

During my visit to Ohio for some pickleball action, I was on the lookout for nearby salad options and stumbled upon Panino, the closest restaurant. After checking out the reviews and photos, I thought it was worth a try, and I’m so glad we did! We arrived just 23 minutes before closing and asked if we could still place an order. They kindly said it was no problem at all! I highly recommend the Spinach Salad—it was fantastic! It featured fresh spinach, crispy crumbs, mushrooms, red onions, and tomatoes, all topped with a delicious hot bacon Italian dressing. The calzone was also excellent. The service was wonderful, and the food was great! We’ll definitely be coming back before heading home.

So it's been a minute since I checked a restaurant and it's because most people don't deserve a review. This place was excellent, the service was a bit slow but honest when you were on a work lunch, that's okay. I have a calzone and omfg, it was perfect. The dough was soft, but not dry or burned. The fillings were balanced, not too much cheese not too much meat. The staff was nice, maybe a bit dry in humor, but what can you expect today. Total good job crew! You will get my repetition

This was my High School and College go to place in the late seventies and early eighties. Name has changed and the place is bigger. Still owned by the same family. It's refreshing to see a local family restaurant still providing excellent food, service, and ambience after so many years.

Great service, atmosphere, clean, and food with a great verity to choose from. The are famous for their sandwiches. Their Spaghetti with sausage is awesome. Come by a try for yourself. They have 3 locations to choose from.

We stopped in for dinner and decided to share a Panino Grinder sandwich along with a whole meat specialty pizza. We were both very pleased; both the sandwich and the pizza were delicious. They also offered a nice variety of beers and cocktails. Our server, Ashley, did an excellent job!
