I went first to monse’s taste of el salvador to eat with my spouse at lunch yesterday, and omg was so good! we split the 3 pupusa plate (picy carnitas/cheese, chicken/cheese, and zucchini/chili/cheese) with plantains, bark empanadas and a horchata. a lot of food for a reasonable price. and their drink menu also looked delish...we will definitely be back in the happy hour to try their guava mojito! service was fast and friendly.
This is an easy to serve pupusa space! a good place for a quick bite. they also have a small seat area in the free in summer. overall, simple and good. I recommend vengan pupusa green chili pinto and spicy carnita pupusa
Love any single vegan option I tried here! the margaritas are also very good, the veggie flautas and vegan smothered yuca fries are my favorites.
You have to visit Monse’s if you’re in Colorado Springs!! My wife and I are regulars and can’t get enough of their pupusas. On top of that Tim and Monse are amazing people and have created a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.
