We truly appreciate all the beautiful memories we've made here, the delicious food, and the exceptional service. Thank you, Chef Brother and team!
Fantastic food! Make sure to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday—I'm glad we did, as they were turning people away when we arrived. We opted for a self-ordered tasting menu featuring all the appetizers and dumplings. It seemed to be a bit overwhelming for the server and kitchen, as some dishes came out quickly while we had to remind them about others. A couple of items were forgotten, and after waiting for a while, we decided to cancel those. We also had to request flatware and napkins a few times. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and very flavorful! I enjoyed a sake flight, and although I plan to return, I might consider takeout next time.
I had heard wonderful things about Lucky Dumpling, so I was excited to try it, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. My friend and I ordered the "tap out," which allows you to select items from each section of the menu. The deal itself was fairly decent, but I found it frustrating that several of the appetizers and small plates were served in odd numbers, making it difficult to share. One of our rangoons was completely empty of filling, but they were kind enough to provide us with more to make up for it. I ordered the black garlic noodles as my main dish, but they were swimming in sauce and shockingly didn’t include any chicken, despite being advertised that way. Additionally, they were out of several menu options, likely due to supply chain issues, which only added to our disappointment. Overall, it was an average dining experience. I'm not completely ruling out a return visit, but it wouldn’t be my top choice.
The food was delicious. It is too bad that they are closing. Can't wait for the next version
Huge letdown! Came for Valentine's day and, honestly, I would have preferred panda express. The pork dumplings were the only thing I enjoyed. The duck egg roll was mid. The lo mein was actually gross. It was an unseasoned plate of undercooked green bell pepper and carrots with a few noodles and a handful of chunked chicken from a Campbell's soup can. The chocolate tofu thing was mainly just salt. My fiance got the jalapeno poppers rangoons and said there was zero filling, her nori wrap was flavorless. The congee was mid, but she said the shrimp on top was okay. The banana creme brulee thing wasn't bad. On top of all this, it took absolutely forever to get the food out. This is a day and night experience from Four. Over there every single item was the most delicious thing I ever had, the service was impeccable, and orders arrived I'm a timely manner. I probably shouldn't compare these two restaurants, but I definitely feel like I wasted $150. Four isn't much more expensive and is an epic experience. At least there was beer. Definitely needed it.
