Golden Gyros - Colorado Springs

This place is fantastic! The owners, Nick and his wife, are incredibly friendly, and they serve the best gyros I've ever had. There's seldom a long wait, and their service is excellent. If you order the combo, you absolutely must try the fries—they're amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I'm sure you'll leave with a positive review after your visit.

We really enjoyed the veggie plate and the gyro plate. We've even been having a friendly rivalry over who gets to put the falafel in the box after dinner! Everything was incredibly delicious. The owners were friendly and welcoming. I would love to see the dining area get a fresh coat of paint. We will definitely be returning!

That was my 2nd visit and I ordered the two chicken gyro sandwiches. It was a nice thing to see, bright and dark green fresh vegetables, tomatoes and cool yogurt sauce surrounded by delicious warm gyro meat. My wife had the chicken gyro plate, and one side surrounded by hummus with a bright center of heat around a dug olive.

My family and I were craving falafel and stumbled upon this hidden gem. It’s a small but very cozy place, and the customer service is excellent! The food is fantastic. We ordered a combination plate with falafel on the side, which was enough to satisfy both my husband and my grandson as well. The prices were very reasonable too. The restaurant is also impeccably clean and the aromas of the food are delightful. I've included some photos! This is definitely a spot to visit when you're in the area.

The production of a gyro, but the other two middle eastern restaurants were closed Tuesday nights! Fortunately, I made a trip to Golden! The door was open and, on foot, there is basil growing near the window and fat baklava on the counter. There was a foreign couple that quickly came out and welcomed me very kindly. They had other customers, but they made my sandwich in under two minutes, they went over the wall where the meat hangs on the skewer and they cut a few crisp slices. She filled a warm roasted pita with this meat, some fresh tomatoes and sauces and a lot of fresh salad (not iceberg). I tried before I left the property! Please support this couple.
