Briar Mart - Colorado Springs

I’ve never had a bad experience at this restaurant until today. When I got home and opened my gyro, I realized that the sauce, which was supposed to be on the side, wasn’t included—but that wasn’t the main issue. The lettuce was actually bad and brown. When I called to address this, the owner said it was due to the heat, but I’ve never encountered this problem with lettuce in any of my other meals. He was also quite rude during our phone conversation. I wasn’t even asking for a refund; I just wanted to inform him about the issue and would have appreciated a replacement. I would have even brought the gyro back with pictures, but he simply told me not to eat there, claiming their lettuce was fresh and that bad lettuce can come from the store too. It’s tough to remove all the bad lettuce since it’s mixed in, but I advise you not to expect any support if there’s a mistake with your order. As he said himself, it’s probably better not to eat here.

This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs. The food is incredibly fresh and is made to order. I had the gyro platter, which was outstanding! We were too full for dessert this time, but their baklava is fantastic!

DELICIOUS! The gyro here is amazing—full of flavor and absolutely yummy. Sean has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to return, and the aroma inside is just fantastic. I never want to leave! Lol. Food: 5/5.

Great cafe restaurant and mediterranen groceries. Food was amazing! We had the Gyro Plate, Falafel Sandwich and Fries. So good!!! There is one dining room behind the groceries area, with several tables. You pay upfront, prizes are great! The food is fresh and very well cooked, taste is amazing! Service super friendly. Passed by this place many times and never tried it. Until today, and it was a total surprise as to how good the food was. We got the chicken gyro and hummus plate both were fantastic. Food was fresh and authentic. A+Food: 5/5
