Although I still recommend it for the food, the environment and atmosphere are not as pleasant as they used to be. The temperature was uncomfortably hot, and box fans on the floor were trying to circulate air. They have also switched to using paper napkins, which were left strewn on the floor. The restaurant no longer matches the prices on the menu. The service was decent, and the chef always puts on a good show. Overall, this restaurant has shifted towards being more family-friendly (bring your kids) rather than a romantic or fun evening out for adults or friends.
I went to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the Hibachi chef, Huang (apologies if misspelled), was entertaining, funny, super nice, and understanding with my girls. It was clear that he was popular because the next table were all frequent customers. We enjoyed his service and the food was delicious. The kids loved it and I personally enjoyed a delicious mai tai - one was definitely enough for me! I would recommend giving this place a try.
We went for sushi for lunch on a Sunday. The gyoza was crispy and the tuna sashimi was excellent. We liked the Colleyville and Cajun rolls, but would suggest skipping the tuna tower. The tower, despite being spicy, seemed to lack a certain flavor. The rolls and tower seemed a bit small for the price.
