I met the owner, Chuck. Great guy. Very funny. We shared many laughs! Will be returning soon. Definitely recommend!
It was a lovely evening with the snow falling it was beautiful, looking out the windows and the fire in the stove was so warm and cozy. The food was very good as was service. I would recommend.
Awesome aesthetic, food was delicious and large portions! Will definitely be coming back.
This is now our goto place for a nice quit dinner. The food is all made in the kitchen and it is great.
I really wanted to like this spot. Went for Saturday night dinner with my husband. For appetizers, he ordered the soup of the day (stuffed pepper) and loved it. I had the onion soup duo. The creamy part was nice, but the more traditional French Onion was not. The cheese had congealed on the bread floating in top, and it was hard to break through it to eat. The soup itself tasted as if the wine hadn’t been cooked out enough. For mains, my husband had the meatloaf and enjoyed it. I had the beef tenderloin pasta. It has a vaguely vinegar taste, which I had never encountered before in a pasta. I think it came from using pickled banana peppers. The beef was tough and hard to cut. If you are going to use fresh mozzarella cheese it needs to be chopped more finely, otherwise it ends up a gloopy mess adhering to the pasta, as this did. The whole thing lacked seasoning. Overall, it was Waterloo, flavourless and generally inedible. Service was pleasant and the poor server apologized profusely. She ended up comping us a slice of key lime pie because she felt so bad. However, it was surprising that a dish could got back to the kitchen practically untouched and no one from management come to investigate, offer another dish or take that dish off the bill. It was disappointing to spend $40 on an appetizer and main and leave the restaurant hungry.
