The Grange Community Kitchen - Hamburg

Very fresh food and a light mood. spouse enjoyed the fresh oysters; my spring salad had only a little too much edgy in the vinaiigrette. both of us ordered pizzas (is that a wood stove that was bigger than we thought could only have one divided. was fun cooking and baking the numerous pizzas, and the bartenders shake the cocktails. coffee press was huge, as well as the coffee cup; the french roast was strong, but not bitter.

We came to a sat night for a cocktail and the grange not disappointed! bartender has given so much love in our drinks! they not only looked great, but their complex tastes were remarkable. (side note: although we did not eat here tonight, the steak smells fabulous service. absolutely recommended.

Brunch by midday. my daughter and I had a croissant breakfast with rührei, cheese and speck. it was perfectly cooked and accompanied with a cup of excellent coffee. my man had a double cheeseburger with potato wars. he shared both of us. it was the best potato chips I ever had. the whole food was excellent. we're coming back.

The food was good, but the whole go to the counter to order but then they bring you your food thing was strange. Also, all of the food was done at random times. The other 2 people with me got their food much faster than I did (almost 10 minutes difference), but then the potatoes arrived like 20 minutes after all everything else. At that point, no one wanted any. So you order, pay and tip without even knowing how the service is going to be.

What a pleasant surprise stop on our trip back home from Canada. Our meal was simply fantastic, with an excellent eclectic mix of dishes from delicious pastries to wood fired pizza. I wish I could take this restaurant and its friendly staff back to Pittsburgh with me.
