Red Bean Asian Cuisine - Cold Lake

The food at this restaurant is always fantastic, but it seems like they never have dine-in options available.

Has this restaurant recently changed ownership? I don't usually leave reviews like this, but considering how expensive it was (almost $70 for two people), this was one of the worst Chinese food experiences I have ever had. The food wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't justify the high price. In summary, they need to improve the quality of their food and storage methods, like using paper bags at least. The delivery service was also disorganized, as we received the wrong food and someone else received part of our order. The beef and broccoli were cold and undercooked, while the almond chicken had one decent piece and one thin, chewy piece. The sweet and sour pork was particularly disappointing, with thin, cheap pork pieces in a dull, bright red sauce. The rice was average, but the spring rolls and cheese wontons were good. The battered shrimp could have been good if they were cooked properly, as half of them were still oily. Overall, they need to improve their cooking methods and use higher-quality ingredients, especially for the sweet and sour pork. I am giving two stars because only 3 out of 6 portions of our meal were edible.

The staff at this restaurant was incredibly friendly and kind. The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. A family member recommended this place to me, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cold Lake.

The food is very fresh and delicious. The portions are definitely big, reasonable price and you get your moneys worth, that's for sure. Service is great. We never get disappointed! I highly recommend this place.
