Mamacita's - Cold Lake

We had to wait for a table for two because their phone wasn't working, so we couldn't make a reservation in advance. The staff seemed to forget about us multiple times and almost served us drinks that belonged to another table. Unfortunately, they forgot our drinks again, and it took 25 minutes before we finally received them. The food arrived shortly after and, as usual, it was delicious.

As for kid-friendliness, they do have booster seats and a limited menu specifically for children.

I visited this restaurant while my husband was on a work trip, having received recommendations from some of his coworkers. My child enjoyed the kids' taco, which was fantastic - perfectly seasoned with a generous portion. The pupusas were so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating them. The La Negrita was incredible, with a wonderful balance of sweet and savory, especially when topped with sour cream. The quesadillas were just as impressive. For dessert, we indulged in churros that were delightful, alongside some refreshing bulldogs I ordered. We plan to eat here every time we visit Cold Lake, and we might even consider coming to Cold Lake just to dine here! Thank you for the amazing meal.

Who would have thought Cold Lake has the best Mexican Food Around. After a long walk at the Marina, we attempted to find a place for a late lunch… the Waffle Place was a bust so we continued on and found this hidden gem a block away. The food was insane, the colada’s were great, and the lady actually shared with us the secret on how they made it so good. Portion sizes were huge, and above all it was an amazing bang for your buck. Not a surprise within 10 minutes of us showing up, the restaurant was full of people, eating, laughing, and savouring everything this place has to offer. Take the time to find this place and you will not be disappointed !!!! I highly recommend it !!!!!!!!

Courteous and prompt; meals for a group of 6 all arrived together.Menu items were generous in portion size and the food was delicious, although a little under-spiced. If the management might consider, a couple of bottles of hot sauce would be great.
