Neptunes at Northside - Coffs Harbour

A dismal effort. We tried once and most likely wouldn't return. Everything seemed oily and over cooked. We saw another couple return their fish as it was so awful. Maybe we caught them on a bad day?

Got two pieces of hoki. Had to pay extra for crumbs. It was passable. Bought my daughters a hamburger. The patty was 80% Soggy breadcrumbs. The other burger was a chicken schnitzel it was lunged to an inch of its life and cooked similarly. It was like cardboard. Chips were quite good but could have been crisper. We may be spoilt having a great local fish and shop so close by in brisbane. Same order that normally costs under $30 was $57. . . .

This has become my permanent takeaway for fish and chips. Service is friendly... food is fresh and prices are good. The selection is excellent and cooked without the greasy after taste... Highly recommend!

The owners of this cafe are very friendly and provide great service which is a great start when you walk through the door. It's nothing fancy in terms of the decor, but the food is really good and prices are good so it's definitely worth a visit for a good breaky or lunch.

Great takeaway! My bacon and egg roll had at least two whole rashers of bacon which is awesome! Scallops were very yummy and hubby had a TexMex burger and he said it was delicious. Fast and friendly service.
