Dark Arts Cafe - Coffs Harbour

Really great space, cooky and warm. Staff really friendly, quick service. The Char dish is delicious!

My hubby rates himself as a coffee buff and he feels he's found the best in Coffs here. A very interesting setting with no glaring lights and a super healthy selection of food and drinks. I loved my fire-side tea so good for tea drinkers too and we have a great breakfast as well - though this is not a place for meat eaters as the nearest is bacon, but still plenty to enjoy and super quality.

Why is it so hard to find a Cafe with good service in Coffs Harbour? Been attending this coffee shop for two weeks, Coffee, food and staff have been great until yesterday. What a shame and a large lost in $$$ for Glenn. Today, I got told to leave the table I was sitting at for another customer. He stated, this table was for them as there was little or no room in the Cafe for them but, there was no signs or other reserving it. I was shocked I was get booted out for some else as the shop was full. I walked out and he followed me out the door saying he was sorry and it was a bad call to ask me to leave the table (well why did you ask, why didn't he do something else). I then told him why I have made this Cafe my new spot (hope he tells the new staff member starting next week) The shop was full and I usually never sit at a table. He offered me a coffee, lol, nope, I don't do free coffees for bad service! Yesterday I ordered a hot drink and they forgot to make it. It was an oversight by a staff member (I sat at my table near 30 mins chatting to my friend). I paid for my first drink and informed her that I didn't get the other drink. They apologised and that was fine. I'll take my business somewhere else.

Came for coffee and cake. Love the setting in Cox Lane. Fab decor and great coffee. Worth the discovery.

We discovered this place with "Bean Hunter" and were not disappointed with their coffee. Delicious and strong. We wouldn't go anywhere else in Coffs Harbour for coffee now. They also serve beautiful breakfasts and lunches. Everything is good quality and prepared with love. Great service too. Would come back again and again.
