Lovely decor and great acoustics so a full restaurant was just a hum in the background. Exceptionally good service. The food was delicious but could have been spicier - probably catering to the majority. Regardless, a lovely surprise to find this place. Thanks to the hosts at the Coastal Bay Hotel for the recommendation.
We all ate Indian but is restaurant also offers western style meals. The Indian we ate was delicious and would be my go to restaurant if I lived in Coffs. Tasty dishes, huge range to select from and very fresh food.
My second visit to this establishment during business stays in the area. The second visit was as pleasant an experiencen as the first. Great menu, decent sized meals and a reasonable price. All the reasons to look forward to more visits to the Bombay Brasserie when next in Coffs.
Very good service....the restaurant was clean and well laid out. The food was the best Indian I have had in years. Had the mixed starter....with a perfect lamb vindaloo
Recently visited this restaurant for a friends birthday. It was my first visit and I was blown away. Although it's tucked away from the main restaurant strip in this area, it actually was more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is a well balanced blend of eastern and western style. It's roomy, clean and well set out where you can see the kitchen and their chefs hard at work. The staff are warm and inviting and never let anything be a problem. They were extremely attentive and very good at their job which was unintentionally put to test when a few of the people at our table changed seats after ordering and our waitress didn't blink and still served us the food we ordered. This is what a good restaurant does, train their staff to treat their patrons as people and not just a seat number. Very impressed! The food was beautiful. There are several Indian restaurants in Coffs Harbour and with the quality of food and authenticity of the food, this would have to be the best I've tasted. I like my spice food and the chilli chicken packed a punch. The garlic cheese naan, to die for.The menu was well balanced of eastern and western which suited our group. The portion sizes of both eastern and western dishes reflected well for what you paid and drink prices were probably on average or just below for this area of town. The night we went it was in the middle of winter so it was quiet. I'd like to go back when it's much busier to see if our experience is the same. But this night, I can't fault. I'm coming back!
